This workshop is designed to help teachers develop strategies for teaching sequences in literacy instruction. Participants will learn how to use graphic organizers, story maps, and other tools to help students identify and understand the sequence of events in a text.
The workshop will also cover how to use sequencing to help students develop their writing skills, and how to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students. Participants will leave the workshop with a toolkit of strategies and resources for teaching sequence in literacy, and with a deeper understanding of the importance of sequencing in literacy instruction.
By incorporating sequencing into their literacy instruction, teachers will be better equipped to help their students understand the structure of texts and develop their reading and writing skills.
