Workshops

This workshop is designed to help teachers integrate art into their literacy instruction to enhance student learning. Participants will learn how to use art to engage students in reading and writing activities, and how to use art to help students visualize and comprehend complex texts.

The workshop will also cover how to use art to promote critical thinking and creativity in literacy instruction. Participants will leave the workshop with a toolkit of strategies and resources for using art to teach literacy, and with a deeper understanding of the connections between art and literacy.

By incorporating art into their literacy instruction, teachers will be better equipped to engage their students and promote student learning.
